Design Notes

BslA mCherry is a composite part that consists of a transcription terminator (parts B0011 and B1002), a P43 constitutive Bacillus promoter, RBS (Bacillus; AGGAGG; 7 bp upstream of start ATG codon), coding regions for the secretion tag LipA and hydrophobin BslA, a GS linker protein (a very linear protein used to link BslA and mCherry, while still allowing for correct folding), and a coding region for mCherry.
